Over the weekend I was invited to Resorts World Sentosa to attend the 2010 Star Awards at the Compass ballroom. Wow I think I last attended the Star Awards in 2006 or 2007……..I remember it was during the early years as a jock……back then I was totally starstruck, and you know what……nothing has changed except maybe I act abit more stylo…..haha!
On the awards ceremony front, just look at the standard of things now, there are 2 shows. The first show was a week before at their main studios and then the second one is at Resorts World Sentosa. There was a grand red carpet for all the stars with photo opportunities and you could feel it was kinda like the Emmys or the Golden Horse awards…….Singapore has up-ed level indeed.
Ok I tried to glam up abit, wore my new white CK jacket…….hehehe!
Well I’m not much of a channel 8 person I admit but it was fun watching the banter on stage between the hosts and other prominent celebrities……….something different for a change…….thank goodness i understand Mandarin. Haha!
