Last week from 30 Oct to 2 Nov, Club 21 will celebrate its third anniversary with a 4-day event called Imagination – The Mac Show at Takashimaya Square (B2).
I popped by on Sunday to check it out and the first thing that caught my eye was the Mini Cooper S on display. It’s one of my fave cars you know, stylish and fast, it’s got a pretty good engine. Ok….I’m straying off topic here…..
Anywayz the entire area at the basement of Takashimaya was basically converted into a giant carnival area, Apple products were not the only thing on display.
Other programme highlights were DJ Battle, DJ Nado, DJ Graduation, as well as dance performances and live band performances. What I liked about the stage area was this LCD screen below the Serato system for the DJ, the screen mirrored the “Turn table” which he was looking at on his Macbook screen while mixing.
The 6th Asia-Pacific Yoyo Championship Finals was also held on that day. Some of the performances were really incredible esp the contestants from Japan.
Well there you go, a nice view from the top. I’m sure most of you are wondering if the new Mac was there….the answer is Yes! I could see lots of people making enquires about it and said to myself, thank goodness I got mine already. I can just walk around and enjoy the displays….hehe!
I must add that I think Apple really catches my eye when it comes to designs. Just look at their 3rd anniversary billboard…….its simple. cool and has Apple writen all over it.
