Marvel's The Avengers Singapore Preview

Early in the morning on 16 April my dream came through. I got to see a special preview of Marvel’s The Avengers and it was so special that apparently the film itself arrived just an hour before the special media screening.

Of course before entering we had to sign a non-disclosure agreement to not review the film till 21 Apr after 5pm. Good move by local distributor Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Singapore because you really don’t want spoilers flying all over the web.

What a way to start the day, with some nice breakfast provided by the folks at Disney. I was all looking forward to stepping into the cinema to experience this film. There was also a contest organized by Disney as some lucky fans who won were able to catch the first 45 mins of the film at this special preview.

Well Disney certainly threw a big surprise because the fans were told to stay for the whole film instead. You see how happy these super enthusiastic fans were. I mean I’m in media so I get previews all the time but I total feel happy for them because if I wasn’t in media, I’d probably be one of those fans hoping for a chance at catching the film early.

Even Mr Young from Power 98fm was there and he was blown away as well. We helped with a quick interview for Walt Disney after the screening as we tried to process this amazing film we had just seen.
