Up till last Saturday I’ve been really busy with the launch of my fashion label but now that I have some time on my hands, it’s time to attend to the backlog.
We start with the Hottoys Ironman exhibition at the Singapore Philatelic Museum. This is the first time it is done in Singapore and for a limited time (till 21 Nov) The Singapore Philatelic Museum is collaborating with Hot Toys and Big Box International to display one-of-a-kind Iron Man figures at the museum.
A nice photo board greets you when you enter the exhibition area and close by is a life sized War Machine figure which is the highlight of the event.
There are also props all around for you to take pictures with. Kinda like cardboard cut outs…..although I’ve worn the suit before, this was more like a playful rendition. The real suit has bigger own-age as my friend said.
History of this armored superhero is also displayed with framed editions of some very old comics.
These works of art are created by leading designers from the USA, Japan, Korea and Hong Kong who have each given their unique interpretation of the superhero. Take for example this one below with Tony Stark in a Kill Bill style outfit.
I was all decked out in my arc reactor t-shirt and I had to take a photo with the war machine armor just before I left, it’s definitely quite the treat if you are a comic book junkie.
Just a few more days till the end of the exhibition so make your way down and check out this international collection!
Danker out!
