Friday was Halloween and in Power 98’s studios, Harry and I played dress up! Haha, I really have no idea how Harry got his hands on that surgeons outfit!
Amazing…and funny too! I must say thank you to my buddy Fendi for helping me get the Captain America suit I was in. The purchase was made online, the bodysuit effect comes out nicely in photographs.
Halloween At The Wongs
After that It was off to a gathering at Kenneth and Kathleen’s place. The siblings made all sorts of Halloween themed props, from a pumpkin to frozen “hands” used as ice.
We had Kenneth as a mad scientist, Jun Yuan as a pirate, Kathleen as a wind up doll, Melissa as a chinese opera singer and Eugene as a banker….haha, more like he didn’t have anything to wear!
Although it was a potluck party, there were still dishes and even superheros aren’t excused from washing them!
My friends Jun Yuan, Kathleen and Melissa carved the pumpkin, Kenneth excused himself as the official photographer…..hahaha! And Eugene and I couldn’t take the smell due to our sensitive noses.
I did watch from far and it does look like a long process. You basically need to cut off the top, then dig out the inside leaving about a 3cm “shell” Then you can carve the face of the pumpkin from the outside. It’s the digging out the insides thats tiring plus this is a big pumpkin!
It was nice though, I’ve never carved one of these huge pumpkins before. It’s quite heavy too and looks great with the candle lit inside it. Anyway most the rest of the photos are all on facebook so if you are my friend on facebook, you’d be able to see!
Danker out!
