Here’s an event I particularly enjoyed hosting – The Slipper Race!

It was really nice catching up with the folks from Project Happy Feet as well at the Project Happy Feet Slipper Race 2014 – Total Defence Edition held on 22February 2014 at SMU School of Accountancy and Law.

Lot’s of people turned up for the event which was flagged off by Dr. Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman the Mayor of the South East District of Singapore, and a Senior Parliamentary Secretary at the ministries of Defence and National Development.

Members of Team Singapore also turned up to lend support to the event and the crew from SuperSports 360 was on hand to bring highlights which you can watch below!

Something else also happened behind the scenes and the folks at Project Happy Feet decided to snap photos and report it. You can find out what happened here.

Project Happy Feet empower lives through education and training to eliminate poverty. All funds raised through the Project Happy Feet Slipper Race 2014 – Total Defence Edition supports the Special Education Financial Assistance Scheme by Community Chest of Singapore (80%) and the Lower Secondary School Development Programme by This Life Cambodia (20%). Fundraising is still on-going and ends on 14 April 2014.
