Sometime last year, HBO Asia invited me to the premiere of Game of Thrones. The series is an American medieval fantasy television series created for HBO by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss. Based on author George R. R. Martin’s best-selling A Song of Ice and Fire series of fantasy novels, the first of which is called A Game of Thrones.
Well yesterday I received this package from HBO Asia and I was blown away! OMG just take a moment and look at that box. Quite obviously it had something to do with The Game of Thrones series. Honestly that box alone was enough for me cos it’s really nice but that was just the beginning…..
A replica throne from the series! Woah and the complete first season on DVD! HBO Asia you spoil me yet again with your super awesome gifts!! I had to blog about this….I mean just look at it, how cool is that!! Now I can watch the whole season again!
I think this note / scroll on the inside of the box was a nice touch as well simply because it’s a remind that season 2 is upon us!! Woo Hoo and it’s coming sooner than your think – This Saturday Apr 21 at 9pm on HBO!
Game of Thrones Season 2 will consist of 10 episodes, like season 1 and will be based on the second book of the A Song of Ice and Fire novels by George R.R. Martin of which the series is an adaptation, A Clash of Kings.
