Now there are many aspects to creating a good video and the key to it is getting all the vital parts just right. Like your video, background music as well as voice over.

Well my buddy Sebastian was finishing up a welcome / promo video for the Malaysian Student’s Society of Manchester which will be screened in KL on the weekend of 23rd and 24th Aug. So he asked me to lend my voice to the project.

A home-made studio was what we had to work with but hey I must say it turned out great. With some editing skills and placing the mic properly we managed to get the perfect sound. But that’s not all because in the end, it all came down to how well he chopped the voice tracks up and placed them in the right places on the video.

The result: A Masterpiece! I must say I really had fun doing this and helping the MSSM out…….best of luck to the new batch of 2008/2009.

After that I stayed on at his place to watch the “Malaysia night” video which was filmed in Manchester. Very interesting mix of culture and imagination. Plus the acting debut of Sebastian…….as the evil Japanese Captain. I knew he would go for the role of the villian.

Back home, I’ve finally purchased my lava lamp! It now sits nicely on top of my cd/dvd shelf!

Danker out!
