This entry is a little late but I thought I’d post it up anyway.
A few weeks ago, I got to visit one of the most prestigious series of fashion shows to be held here in Singapore, the Audi Fashion Festival. My magazine, POPCulture Online was there to capture the many styles that the different brands had to offer. So while my photographer was busy capturing the moments, I enjoyed the view from the audience and I must say it was interesting for me.
One show that stood out for me was The CLEO Runway Search 2011 because it started off with a vibrant summer fun theme at the start and went on to a more elegant style with black as the recurring colour toward the end. And I got to see a familiar face in Chong Kamei from CLEO Magazine presenting the winner Grace Leong with the award.
The Atelier Swarovski show was another one that stood out with the models all sparkling and glittering as they lighted up the runway.
But I must say the festival really ended with a bang as Emanuel Ungaro presented their A/W 2011 collection featuring Creative Director Giles Deacon.
The constant black theme was a winner for me because I like the colour and the way it projects an air of confidence, style and sex appeal which was potrayed brilliantly by the models.
