I hosted the Press Conference of 4BIA over at Intercontinental Hotel today. 4BIA of course is a Thai film featuring 4 of the most talented horror directors from Thailand, directing their concepts of 4 different short stories into 1 feature film.
I caught up with the stars of the movie as well as the directors and asked about how they came up with the idea of this film and also what they felt of the performances of the actors.
To them it was a simple question of “What would you get if you put 4 of the biggest Thai horror film directors together?” The answer………..4BIA! Those are the 4 directors Youngyooth Thongkonthun, Banjong Pisanthanakun, Parkpoom Wongpoom, and Paween Purikitpanya. As well as actor Apinya Sakuljaroensuk and actress Maneerat Kham-uan.
The nice lady beside me was my interpreter, cos the cast and directors didn’t speak much English so she helped translate my questions into Thai, which I must say went very smoothly.
Well that’s us, the actors and me, plus Alvin from Sales team who made this arrangement with Golden Village possible. Hosting the press conference was a great expirence and I look forward to more!
