As promised, lots and lots of photos from the Starbucks open house I hosted with Harry Corro yesterday evening. I gotta say it was a really fun event, I haven’t enjoyed hosting this much in a long time.
The started off at about 435pm, we had special guests, Mr Jeff Miller, Managing Director of Starbucks Singapore, Major Bob Lee, Director of Salvation Army Singapore and Guest-Of-Honour Miss Eunice Olsen.
A stage area was prepared just ouside the very first Starbucks outlet in Singapore at Liat Towers.
Now the rain definately didn’t stop people from coming down to the open house from 5 to 7pm. Coffee on the house from Starbucks all as part of this festive season of giving.
While doing the introductions, Harry and I were wondering “What’s with those boots?” Hehehehehe!
Had to waste sometime before the launch of the open house at 5pm sharp so what better time to ask “Eunice, why why why those pvc red boots?” hahahahaha, I had alot of fun irritating her.
Since shes always so busy it’s like one year once then I get to see her so must irritated her one years worth!
5pm: The launch of the open house with ringing bells and a giant pledge card to signify all tips and donations would go to the salvation army from 5 to 25th dec 08. A cause that Starbucks has been supporting for 5 years.
And a toast to celebrate this occasion………Harry you idiot, the camera’s the other way! Hahahaha!
Eunice donned the red apron and kettle from the salvation army to go around asking for donations. Here’s a photo with Anna from our sales team.
