The event marks the South West ComCare Local Network Anniversary Dinner cum ComCare Awards 2012.
It is also the 5th Anniversary of South West CLN and recognises the efforts of the CLN’s partners, which includes social service agencies, grassroots organisations, community and corporate organisations that have contributed to the CLN’s success in reaching out to help the less fortunate in the district.
The Guest of Honour was Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Finance & Minister of Manpower.
The special event was hosted by Dr Amy Khor Mayor of South West District, and featured Special Guests: Mr Lawrence Wong Minister of State for Ministry of Defence and Education; Mr David Ong, BB Adviser to Jurong GRC Grassroots Organisations; and Mr Desmond Lee Adviser to Jurong GRC Grassroots Organisation.
TV and Radio Personality Elliott Danker was the emcee for this event.
