David Archuleta was in town recently for a showcase and to promote his second album, The Other Side of Down. He held an autograph session with his fans on Monday 15 Nov at Bugis Junction and I had the opportunity to host this event courtesy of Sony Music Singapore.
Getting the crowd warmed up was easy, it was the entire atrium area of Bugis Junction was filled with crazy David Archuleta fans……it was amazing seeing the crowd there. They were energetic and they were really up for it, that kind of positive energy really rubs on you and that’s one of the things I really appreciate as an entertainer.
So the crowd goes wild as Archuleta takes the stage at 7pm! His fan club in Singapore even had a birthday song prepared for him in advance of the actual date in Dec.
I gotta say he is a really nice guy, very obliging and very appreciative of his fans.
I asked him if he had any advice to people his own age with the same big dreams as he did and he said “Just get out there and go for it, dreams do come true”
