This is exciting news for all anime fans. Ichirou Mizuki, Japan’s “King of Anime Songs”, will be attending Anime Festival Asia 2008 (AFA08) and will perform live on stage on Saturday, 22 November 2008.
Ichirou Mizuki is one of the most famous Japanese performers who has a 40-year career as a singer and will be performing for the first time in Singapore. This adds to the anime star power for AFA08 with May’n already confirmed to the stage performance line up.
Ichirou Mizuki has an amazing discography having performed over 1200 songs including songs for “Mazinger Z” “Captain Harlock” and many other TV theme songs, such as “Masked Rider”. This illustrious feat has given him the reputaiton as Japan’s most prominent Anime performer boasting a 40 year career as a singer for Anime songs.
