This is a little late but here’s my trip to the Lifehouse Concert over the weekend! Firstly I’d like to thank Chris for the invites and the VIP view…..man the VIP area was great, right above the stage so you can see the whole stage from the 2nd story while the band rocked out!
Local duo Jack and Rai kicked off the concert with a few songs from their album. All photos in this post (and most other posts on this website…..haha!) are all thanks to Kenneth and his DSLR.
And then on to the main event, Jason, Rick and Bryced rocked it out at St James powerhouse with their opening number “Spin” Woah…..they sounded great, exactly like on CD! I got a taste of their live performance ability when they visited the Power 98 studios last Wednesday.
Talk about rocking out, you can see the chemistry between Jason and Rick cos they have been in the band longest!
There were also the sentimental numbers like “You and me” as well as “Storm”. Here’s Jason performing “Storm” alone, which was one of their encore pieces.
My sis Leanna of course found out the benefits of working at St James, esp when Lifehouse is in town and performing there!
Kudos to every member of the band for a great 90min concert! What a way to mark their first visit to Singapore…..I do hope they come back soon for an even bigger concert.
You know, it was great firstly to meet the band, interview them and then finally get to watch them live, from the VIP area……….what a weekend, I’m really grateful for it! (This is me going into groupie mode)
