Wearnes Automotive and OCBC hosted an evening with a very special appearance by Infiniti Red Bull Racing driver, Mark Webber. The event would also mark Webber’s last appearance in the Singapore Grand Prix as he was retiring at the end of the season.
I was honoured to be the host of the event and it would be my 3rd time hosting alongside Mark so when he arrived and remembered who I was, it was a really great feeling.
Mark Webber was also in Singapore to launch The Infiniti Performance Engineering Academy, a global talent search initiative for budding engineers, the first in the world!
It’s too bad I won’t be able to share the stage with him again next year but for all it’s worth, it has been an unforgettable experience!
