I’m sure you have seen the trailer to Tron Legacy, the sequel to 1982’s Tron staring Jeff Bridges. Well this film is pretty significant in my life since it was released the year I was born and now that the sequel is coming to the big screen in Dec, I was lucky enough to be invited by Disney to an exclusive screening of 23 mins of non continuous screens from the first half of the film.

My verdict…..I wish I didn’t go because now I really can’t wait for the film. It is AMAZING! The 3-D is fantastic for sure but the whole feel of the film has got it, it’s fantasy no doubt but you connect.

I’m not gonna give anything away but let’s just say Journey’s “Separate Ways” is featured at some point of the film. How’s that for 80’s connection? Daft Punk is the composer of the score and he gives alot of hints of the 80’s midi tones laid cleverly throughout the film.

So the graphics is pretty neat, the score has got you hooked and the cast……Olivia Wilde…….need I say more. Jeff Bridges plays bad guy and good guy and the new kid Garrett Hedlund seems like a pretty cool chap.

Disney was kind enough to put in a very very nice goodie bag for all the press and media personalities who were part of the most mind blowing teaser of the year, Tron night!

Thank you Disney and Razor. For all you Tron fans, check this out. I’ve already ordered mine…….you might wanna get yours to set the mood for Dec.

Danker out!
