One good way to start the long weekend is to meet up with old friends and people you used to work with. I was invited to Launch 2 last Thursday and it’s basically a media networking event where event companies, celebrities, models, designers and lots of freelance media people gather to network.
I didn’t really do much networking cos I was hanging out with some old friends like Charissa and Harry who i used to work with at Power98FM and I met my Cleo Bachelor senior Julian Low from Polo Boys.
I did make some new friends like Andrew, Zaryl and Wendy……pity we didn’t take a picture together but it was really good company that evening. Especially if you are starting up in the media industry what Launch event does is it provides you a chance to meet people in the media and simply throw your namecards out there.
Honestly you can never know what opportunities may come so Launch has my support, well done Derek and Co.
Definitely looking forward to Launch 3
