Contrary to popular belief, you don’t need powers to be a superhero just ask Tony Stark. He’s made a reputable crime-fighting career for himself utilizing his brains, brawn and billions of dollars to thwart evildoers.
Of course, without a sizable bankroll, it would be difficult for the average person to develop the high-tech gadgets and cutting-edge suits of armor that Iron Man employs. Emulating his alter ego, however, is a bit more realistic and affordable (but certainly not cheap) so I found this article online and decided to have some fun with it.
If you want to sample Stark’s style, try these items on for size:
The Drive to succeed
Tony Stark decides to drive the F1 car he owns, so ok you wanna be Tony Stark you gotta have a fast car and what car can be faster than an F1 car.
Nice one Tony, I think I can match you there………you might even call me the reserve driver for Mclaren Mercedes as you can see with my full suit below.
A Stark Dressed Man
When you’re traveling the world, you need to be able to adapt to different dress codes painlessly. Whether it’s partying at a Stark Industries benefit gala in California in a classic tuxedo or testing weapons for military officials in the Middle East in a navy blue with light blue pin-striped suit, Tony has an outfit for every occasion and is always dressed to thrill.
As a radio DJ, we are often called on to host corporate events and gala dinners so it’s essential to own a suit to host the more formal events. To go on par with Mr Stark, I am one of this years Cleo magazine’s 50 most eligible bachelors and so a suit was necessary as I made my way down the catwalk.
Smell like a superhero
Diesel has repackaged their signature Only The Brave eau de toilette into special gold vials being clenched by a shiny red hand as a merchandising tie-in for Iron Man 2. Emblazoned with images straight from the comic books, this is the affordable accessory for the fanboy in your home.
First of all, I gotta get one of those……….SO COOL! Ok opps……..yeah I got a scent too, P Diddy inspires me with the I AM KING scent from Sean John is what I use.
Phoning it in
Stark communicates through the LG VX9400, a device that allows him to video chat with partners and clients, watch mobile TV, connect to the internet, back up his data, record conversations and do just about anything that a smart phone can do! A must-have for tech freaks, superhero geeks and the average Joe on the street.
I was told I was a fun guy, that’s why I ditched the serious smartphone Blackberry for the more fun smartphone Iphone 3GS………I have internet access just like Mr Stark and cool functions too. Hey tech freaks go wild for this too you know.
Time is power
Perhaps the most luxurious accessory that we see in Iron Man is Tony’s plus-sized Bvlgari watch, the Diagono Complication. With an 18k gold case and a pair of 18k gold folding buckle blades.
I cannot afford this, I mean come on…….it is way above my pay grade, but if I had the kind of funds that Stark has, I’d definitely slap one of those boys on my wrist! In the meantime I will settle with what I own, the A|X Armani Exchange Men’s Black Leather Strap Watch AX2006.
The Verdict
Hey I got a suit too! So while RDJ acts as Tony Stark on screen, I might well be on my way to emulating Tony Stark in real life.
Ok la, Tony Stark budget version.
