April 28, 2 days before the official opening of Iron Man 2, Power98 gives it’s listeners a treat by sending them to catch the preview of Iron Man 2. We had to think of a way to make this interesting and being part of the team that helped plan this, we decided to greet our listeners with Singapore’s biggest Iron Man fan…..yours truly.
Now this was gonna be tricky, what makes the biggest Iron Man fan, I mean….is it just gonna be some toy collector. Sure I collect Iron Man toys, in fact I got my own hall of armors but there are some pretty intense toy collectors out there and there ain’t no way I’m up to their level.
Besides, I’m not gonna bring my toy collection down……haha!
So you know what, I’ll just be Tony Stark then! Hahaha fitting as it was just last month that I was part of Cleo’s 50 most eligible bachelors and now I’m in an Iron Man suit…..heck I really am Tony Stark!
Lot’s of passer bys at the Cathay and of course our listeners coming down to redeem their movie tix for this years biggest summer blockbuster was fun man, I mean the amount of photos we took……
We did say on air that me being Singapore’s biggest Iron Man fan meant a big surprise and it was refreshing as some listeners described, seeing me in that suit.
What a great way to meet them I must say and one question commonly posed to me…..”Is it hot in that?” WELL YA IT’S BLOODY HOT! hahahaha!
On the outside you could say I kinda know what it feels like to be Iron Man with the bulky armor and all (walking was a challenge)…..but on the inside it feels like Spider Man with that skin tight black wetsuit….hahahaha!
All the planning really paid off seeing how we managed to do something different for our listeners and the opportunity to be part of such a big movie.
