You know when a superstar is in the room by the way he walks in, the air around him and that vibe he gives off. Well that was how it was like when Adam Lambert walked into the room for my interview with him.
In my short time as a DJ, I’ve had the opportunity to meet many superstars but none quite caught my attention as much as American Idol runner up Adam Lambert. His take on being a role model was simple, He’s not asking kids around the world to be like him but he’s encouraging them to be themselves.
No doubt he’s different but he says he’s very comfortable with it and he’s just being himself which is what youth empowerment is all about. Be true to yourself and be happy about it.
Another thing about interviewing this guy was that he would look you in the eye when he addressed each question with absolute full attention. It’s a good reflection of the way he was brought up and I gotta say, no celebrity has shown that much attention when answering questions. They are always looking around or turning their head sideways.
